MONTPELIER – William J. O’Neill, “Bill”, 59, of St. Paul street, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday morning, September 10, 2017. His loving family was with him at his bedside.
Born in Pasadena, California on April 10, 1958. He was the son of Vincent and JoAnn (Spence) O’Neill. Bill attended high school at U32.
Following his schooling Bill worked as an electrician for many years.
For over thirty years he was a member of a fellowship that shared and strived for a common goal.
Throughout his life he had many special hobbies and interests which included outdoor activities, motorcycles, playing the guitar and listening to music. He enjoyed socializing with people from all walks of life and most importantly spending time with his family, especially his nephews and niece.
Bill is survived by his brother, Vincent O’Neill, Jr., of Williamstown; two sisters; Peg O’Neill of Tabernash, CO and Catherine Morrow (O’Neill) of Fort Lauderdale, FL as well as his beloved nephews and niece.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael O’Neill.
A celebration of life with light hors d’oeuvres and fellowship will be held at Alumni Hall (adjacent to the Barre Auditorium), in Barre on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
