WILLIAMSTOWN – Wendy R. Spencer, 64, of Williamstown Square passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Born February 15, 1952 in Barre, she was the daughter of Silas Robert and Ruth Winifred (Martin) Cochran.
Wendy attended Websterville Elementary School and later in life earned her GED.
On December 24, 1975, she married Fillmore Frank “Pinky” Spencer in Orange. They made their home in Orange. They divorced in 1983 and she moved to Williamstown. He died in 1992.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Wendy enjoyed putting together puzzles, crafts, crossword puzzles, and playing cribbage.
Survivors include her daughters Edith Hough and her husband, Clifton of East Barre and Christina Burrece and her husband, Henry of Clayton, MI; her son Frank Spencer and his wife, Rachel of Graniteville; her grandchildren Sylver Edson, Devon Burrece, Sonia Therrian, Lloyd Flint, and Connor, Madison, and Millie Spencer; 3 step grandchildren Nicholas Hough, Clifton Hough III, and Jody Evans; and 1 great grandson Brayden Martin; her brothers Robert Cochran of East Barre and Kendall Cochran of Berlin.
She was predeceased by her parents.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in the Wilson Cemetery in Lower Websterville. There are no calling hours.
