WOODSVILLE, NH – Todd J. Dukette, 52, of Newport Road, and a former Barre, VT resident, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at his home.
Born on April 14, 1963 in Barre, he was the son of Paul Douglas and Anna Rose (Wilett) Dukette. Todd attended North Barre Elementary School, Williamstown Middle School and graduated from Williamstown High School.
He worked for Malden Mills, Bombardier, UniFirst, Spectrum Inc., and Fuji. Most recently, he worked with his brother, Steven Dukette at Covered Bridge Professional Home Inspections of Troy.
On April 17, 2015, Todd married Maureen Merrill and they made their home in Woodsville.
Todd was a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, the National Association of Certified Inspectors, and the Vermont Association of Professional Home Inspectors.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and working on his home. His other interests were four-wheeling, NASCAR auto racing, and in earlier years, snowmobiling.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Dukette of Woodsville; his children, Joshua Ainsworth a SSG in the Vermont Army National Guard and his wife, Heidi of Hyde Park, Rebecca Dukette and companion Billy Pedigo of Texas, and Damian Dukette of Brattleboro; his three grandchildren, Jaden, Grace, and Grant Ainsworth; and his brother, Steven Dukette and his wife, Susan of Troy. His parents predeceased him.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015, at 12:00 noon in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Berlin Corner Cemetery.
