Timothy M. Wilbur

ORANGE – Timothy M. Wilbur, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from a medical event.

Born in Barre, Tim was the eldest child of Esther (Smith) and Frank Wilbur. In 1978, he graduated from Bob Jones Academy in Greenville, South Carolina. After returning to Vermont, he furthered his education receiving a bachelor’s degree in computer programming and accounting.

For the majority of his career, he was employed by Bailey Brothers Auto Parts as office manager of their warehouse and headquarters. For the remainder of his career, he was self-employed as a webmaster.

Tim’s other interests included genealogy, cooking, Vermont history, and vintage photography. He made his home in the quiet countryside of Orange, living next door to his lifelong friends Mark and Wanda (Cecchini) Knapp.

He is survived by siblings Rebecca (Wilbur) and Gary Bicknell of East Corinth and Daniel Wilbur of Poultney as well as nephews Zachary and Samantha (Champine) Hutchins and Jeremiah Wilbur. Tim had an infectious laugh, a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tim was predeceased by both parents.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.
