Timothy M. Keane, Jr.

ORANGE - Timothy Michael Keane, Jr., 56, of Prechtl Road passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA surrounded by loved ones.

Timothy, “Tim”, was born in Boston, MA on February, 20 1961, he was the son of Timothy Michael Keane, Sr. and Jeanette (Ryan) Keane and he quickly grew to be an independent and unique individual.

On October 15, 1982, he married Tamara (Hill) Keane, a loving and dedicated partner with whom he raised seven wonderful children. Tim will be remembered for his fighting spirit and his motivation and ability to carve out his own road in this world.

Timothy is survived by a large and loving family including: his mother Jeanette (Ryan) Keane of Pembroke, MA; his brother Kevin Keane of Hanson, MA; his sister Kelly (Keane) Heath of Halifax, MA; his children Timothy Michael Keane III of Lyme NH; Robert Keane of Ballston Spa, NY; Christopher Keane of Orange, VT; Erin (Keane) Dill of Montpelier, VT; Joseph Keane of Corinth, VT; Bryan Keane of Plattsburgh, NY; and Seana Keane of Barre Town, VT; as well as twelve grandchildren ranging in age from 11 months to 19 years old.

He was predeceased by his beloved father, Timothy Michael Keane, Sr. of Pembroke, MA and his loving brother Sean Keane of Plymouth, MA.

The graveside service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Brook Haven Cemetery in Orange, VT. Following the service, a time of fellowship will be held at the Washington Baptist Church, Route 110, in Washington, VT.

Family and friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10 at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre, VT.
