PLAINFIELD – On Wednesday, January 22, 2020 heaven gained another beautiful angel, Stephanie Nicole Moshinskie-Metcalf passed away.

Born on September 6, 1980 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Bob and Sheryl (Bickford) Moshinskie. Stephanie attended local elementary schools and graduated from Twinfield Union High School in 1998.

They say everything happens for a reason, I guess heaven needed her beautiful heart more than us. The way she made an impact on so many people’s lives, there are literally no words to describe how many hearts she holds, she touched hundreds of people’s lives with loving, caring, passionate hands. She would ALWAYS put everyone before herself, she was a mother to every single person who had the opportunity to be in her life.

Stephanie was a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) for more than fifteen years, she worked at Woodridge Nursing Home, Maple Grove -dementia unit. She helped so many of her residents walk through the gates of heaven, she always made sure they were comfortable. She showered them with love and kisses and beautiful music, and she always made sure they were never alone.

She was always a rock for every family member losing a loved one, she always knew exactly what to say and when it was time for a sweet Stephanie bear hug.   Outside of work she was a courageous confident human being that loved her family and friends unconditionally.   She married her high school sweetheart Jason Metcalf on July 29, 2006 and brought two beautiful babies into this world, Jordan and Jaydan. She taught them to be caring and compassionate people - just like her.

Stephanie never failed to be the person bringing excitement and bubbly laughter into every room she ever entered.  She always used to say, "Who does that!" and "OH your God" and eventually everyone around her started saying it too.  She made such a beautiful impact on so many people’s lives and never expected anything from anyone.  A small group of her friends, Stephanie, aysha, Julie, Amanda, and of course always Jaydan, gathered every Sunday to have a "Sunday funday" always greeting each other screaming "HEY GIRL HEY" with the goal of having a day full of laughter and fun – the group never failed to make that happen.

Her beautiful soul is one of a kind and life will never be the same without her. We all carry a piece of her heart with us wherever we go. Stephanie wouldn't want us to be sad.  She gave us all the strength we need to make it through this, so let us celebrate the amazing moments and beautiful memories she has left us with.

Survivors include her husband Jason Metcalf of Plainfield; her sons Jordan and Jaydan Moshinskie-Metcalf also of Plainfield; her parents Bob and Sheryl Moshinskie of Tennessee; and her siblings Eric Moshinskie; Shawn Moshinskie; and Michelle Moshinskie as well as her many friends.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Charlie and Barbara Bickford and her paternal grandparents Al and Helen Moshinskie.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre assisted the family with the arrangements.
