BARRE – Sharon M. Bell, 46, of North Seminary Street passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Central Vermont Medical Center.
Born on April 15, 1977, in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of Alan and Cindy (O’Connell) Hogan. She attended elementary and high school in Maine. After graduating high school, she became and Licensed Nursing Assistant and was currently in the process of becoming an RN at Vermont Technical College.
On August 5, 2017, she married Lee Bell. They were partners for over twenty years.
Sharon was employed as a Licensed Nursing Assistant and Administrative Assistant in the Emergency Department at the Central Vermont Medical Center for sixteen years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed going to Thunder Road and other local racing venues as well as vacationing and travelling, although most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Lee Bell, her children Kelby Bell, Seth Bell, Racheal Premont, Trevor Bell and Brandon Bell, and her grandchildren Asia, Cayden, Ryder, Kaiser, McKinley, Logan, Jacob, Cooper, and Alani as well as her siblings Carrie Stevens, Tammy Carpenter, and William Hogan.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law.
The service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. (noon) in the American Legion Post #3 Montpelier, 21 Main Street, Montpelier. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barre Fish and Game Club, Gun Club Road, Barre, VT 05641.
