Sandra K. Lanctot

WILLIAMSTOWN – Sandra K. Lanctot passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2017 at Sylvia's House Hospice of Marion County Florida surrounded by family.

She was born on July 22, 1938 to Herbert and Violet (Williamson) Ferno. She attended Spaulding High School and graduated in 1956. Sandra married Ronald (Joe) Lanctot on June 1, 1957 in Graniteville. They made their homes in Graniteville and Williamstown. Sandra worked, in her younger years, for the Perry Medical Clinic and Lacillade Lumber Company. She spent most of her years as a homemaker. Sandra looked forward every year to visitors while spending winters in Florida.

Sandra was an active and dedicated member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Williamstown as well as Blessed Trinity Church in Ocala, Florida. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She also attended a weekly knitting club in Florida. In her spare time, Sandra enjoyed designing and mailing cards for all occasions to many, many friends and relatives.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joe; three daughters, Tammy Carrier and husband Steven of Danville, Renee Pearce and husband Fred of Williamstown, JoEllen Geno and husband Randy of Bridgewater Corners; and one son, Timothy and wife Deanna of Williamstown. She also leaves grandchildren, Stephanie, Emily, and Ryan Carrier, Betsy Pearce, Chad Geno and Michelle Gabardi, and Matthew Lanctot and great-grandchildren, Ava and Ella Marshia, Nolan Geno, and Alexus Gabardi. She leaves two sisters, Susan Heath of Virginia and Deborah Ferno Fysh of New Hampshire, as well as sisters-in-law, Ginette Lessard of Graniteville, Denise Town of Websterville, and Yvonne Winters of Williamstown; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Edwards Catholic Church in Williamstown in early May with the date and time to be announced.
