Sally A. Perry

WILLIAMSTOWN – It is with great sadness that the family of Sally Ann (Griffin) Perry announces that she passed away peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home after a period of declining health at the age of 77 years.

Born on February 7, 1941 in Hartford, CT. She made her home in Williamstown for the past 28 years.

Sally’s childhood dream was to have a family and raise children of her own. She navigated her four children through the chaos involved with being a military family and modeled generosity, thoughtfulness, and faith.

Later in life, Sally worked at National Life in Montpelier, VT. In addition, she worked many years at Vermont Home Health as a home health aide and a Hospice Volunteer and Training Coordinator. She found great meaning in her work and will always be remembered for her generosity and kindness. Sally had an amazing ability to cook and loved all creatures, big and small.

Sally will be lovingly remembered by her husband Raymond Perry of 28 years, her four children: Terri Morrison and her husband, Brian of Milford, MA; Danny Fortier of Burlington, VT; Cindy Hendrickson and husband, John of Largo, FL; and Sharon Bean and her husband, Chris of Concord, NH. Sally was a proud and loving grandmother to her six grandchildren and two great granddaughters: Tyler and Hali Morrison, Chelsea and Casey Hendrickson, Winsor and David Bean and Amelia and Alice Morrison. She leaves her sister, Mary Griffin and brother Matthew Dufort.

She was predeceased by her mother Sara Dufort, father Michael Griffin and brother John Griffin.

A memorial celebration to honor and celebrate her life will be held at a later time.
