GRANITEVILLE – Robert A. DuBois, 53, of Crest Street passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at his home.
Born September 9, 1964 in Barre, VT, he was the son of Arthur E. and Elsie C. (Flood) DuBois. Robert attended Williamstown Elementary School and graduated from Williamstown High School in 1982. He made his home in Graniteville.
Robert was employed as a Stone Cutter with various sheds in the area working the longest at Granite Industries of Vermont.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Granite Cutters International of America (GCIA). In his spare time, Robert enjoyed hunting, watching football and NASCAR Auto Racing, working on his house and most importantly spending time with his family and loved ones.
Survivors include his sons Dana DuBois and his wife, Leanne of Montpelier; and Daniel DuBois and his wife, Crystal of South Barre; his daughters Melinda DuBois and her husband, Zach of Springfield; Kristian DuBois of Brattleboro; and Rachael DuBois and her fiancée Peter Blanchard of Barre; several grandchildren; his mother Elsie DuBois of Graniteville; his siblings Ricky DuBois and his wife, Martha of Williamstown; Deborah Neveau of Williamstown; Jody DuBois of Barre; and Dale DuBois and his wife, Betty of Williamstown.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur DuBois; and his brothers Randy DuBois, Roger DuBois and Russell DuBois.
A memorial service to remember Robert’s life will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Moose Club in Williamstown. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre.
