ORANGE – Richard C. Quenneville, 80, of Cutler Corner Road passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born June 28, 1938 in West Hartford CT, he was the son of Charles A. and Loretta T. (Caya) Quenneville.
Richard attended Hartford Trade school and Hillyer College in West Hartford. After college, he made his home in South Windsor, CT and Littleton, MA before moving to Vermont, making his home in Middlesex, then Williamstown before eventually settling in Orange.
Richard was a Computer Electronic Technician specializing in RCA and computer equipment.
In his spare time, he was an avid ham radio operator and enjoyed flying radio control planes, as well as photography, astronomy, fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, riding his motorcycle and watching auto racing. Thunder Road was his favorite race track where he watched his son, Mudflap, compete.
Survivors include his former wife, Jeannine Logan; his sons Steven Quenneville of Barre Town; Kevin Quenneville of Orange; and his daughter Karen Lussier also of Orange; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his sister Elaine Lydon, who affectionately called him Richie, and her husband Dick of Granby CT.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother George Quenneville.
