WEBSTERVILLE – Richard J. Gregoire, 95, of Websterville passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home.

Born on November 19, 1930, in Barre, he was the son of Roy and Helen (Berno) Gregoire.

On January 19, 1951, he married Evelyn J. Shatney in Barre. Following their marriage, they lived in the family home on Milano Hill, where they raised 4 children.

Richard was employed by Rock of Ages as a blacksmith for over 40 years. He was a member of the Canadian Club of Barre and the Barre Rifle and Pistol Club.

Survivors include his sons Steve and Scott Gregoire as well as 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Gregoire, his daughter Charlene Gregoire and his son Jeffrey Gregoire.

The service to honor and celebrate his life will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Washington. There are no calling hours.
