Phyllis C. Govea

BERLIN - Phyllis Cecile Govea, 75, passed away peacefully after a long illness.

Born September 20, 1943 in Barre, she was the daughter of Antonio and Flora (Sulham) Govea. Phyllis lived much of her life in the Central Vermont area.

She was a long-term resident of the Berlin Health and Rehabilitation facility and enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with family, friends and staff.

Survivors include her children, Linda Hallock of Kingsport TN; Brenda Hallock and her partner, Michael of Randolph Center, VT; and Donat Premont, Jr., and his wife, Heather of Northfield, VT; her grandchildren Seth Peck and his wife, Brandy; Nichole Hood; Kristen Hood; Steffani Hallock; Dylan Premont; Branden Premont and Jason Premont; her great-grandchildren Ethan, Taydence, Gaven, Arabella, Madelyn, Rylee, Sophie, Asia, Raiden, Carter, Kingston and Wyatt.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Alice Demaio, Alma Williams, Thelma (Jean) Boyce, Manuel Govea, Joy Fletcher, Marie Fasset, Pricilla Sherman and Antonio Govea.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at the family’s convenience in the Spring of 2019 in the Plain-mont Cemetery in Plainfield, VT.   There are no calling hours.
