ORANGE – Paula A. Clement, 58, of Clement Road passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at her home.
Born October 4, 1961 in Barre, she was the daughter of Roland and Herma May (Richardson) Clement. She attended local elementary schools and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1979. After graduation, she attended Champlain College and graduated with an Associate degree in Business and then she attended Woodbury College where she received a Paralegal degree.
Paula made her home in Orange with her long-time partner Michele Boyer. She began her working career in the Human Resource Department at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in Waterbury before she left to care for her mother and then she opened Country Canine Dog and Cat Boarding in Orange which she owned and operated for fifteen years.
She was a member of and secretary for the Riverside Orange Grange, member of and treasurer for the Cobble Hill Grange, and Master of Pamona Grange, and a Grace of Vermont State Grange. In her leisure time, she loved her kennel and animals as well as gardening.
Survivors include her long-time partner, Michele Boyer of Orange and her niece Laura Mead of East Weymouth, MA as well as many cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents.
The Service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
