Patricia A. Flint

TOPSHAM – Patricia A. Flint, 70, of Willey Hill Road passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

Born August 25, 1948 in Barre, she was the daughter of Albert F. and Emma A. (Stevens) Downing, Sr.

Patricia attended elementary school at the East Topsham Village school and attended Bradford Academy.

On July 20, 1966, she married Paul Flint, Sr., in East Topsham. Following their marriage, they made their home in East Topsham. Patricia was a homemaker and throughout her lifetime she watched a total of 98 children, her door was always open to each and every one of them.   Paul passed away in April of 2001.

In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed raising animals, as well as flower and vegetable gardening.

Survivors include her son Paul Flint, Jr., and his wife, Tracy of East Orange, VT; her daughter Roxanne Souliere and her husband, Chris of Auburn, NY; her grandchildren Steven (Emma), Derek (Katie), Tanya (Jason), Tyler (Shaina), Ryan, Valaree, Shane, Mindy, and Jacob; her great-grandchildren Hannah, Morgan, Ranee, Abagail, Austin, Natalie, Brystal, Madison, Dominic, Taylynn, and Tory; her brothers Richard Downing and his wife, Tracy of East Corinth; Dustin Downing and his wife, Eva; Albert Downing, and Edgar Downing all of East Topsham; her sisters Sharon Emerson and her husband, Ralph; Joyce Meyette, Janice Emerson, and Alberta Sweet all of East Topsham; and Shirley Montandon of Waits River as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Paul Flint, Sr., her brother Donald Downing and her sister Irene Wilson.

The service to honor and celebrate Patricia’s life will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Topsham United Presbyterian Church, 4 Hart’s Road, East Topsham, VT. There are no calling hours.
