Pamela J. Pickel

EAST MONTPELIER – Pamela Jane Pickel, 70, of Clark Road passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

Born on August 5, 1954, in Newport News, Virginia, she was the daughter of Charles and Agnes (Daniels) Mitchell.

She attended elementary and high school in Virginia.

On December 28, 1974, she married Brian Pickel in Hampton, Virginia. Following their marriage, they made their home in Virginia for six years before moving to East Montpelier in October of 1980.

Pamela was a homemaker and in her spare time, she enjoyed going camping and reading.

Survivors include her husband Brian Pickel of East Montpelier, VT; her sons Brian Pickel, Jr. of Chesterfield, VA and Justin Pickel of Barre, VT; her grandchildren Zoey, Landon, and Cayleb; one great-grandchild and her sisters Virginia of North Carolina and Charlotte of Pennsylvania as well as her niece Renee Collins and her nephews David Pickel, Jr., and Chris Pickel.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Francis.

The service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at the convenience of her family.
