Pamela L. Morris

WILLIAMSTOWN – Pamela Louise Morris, 55, a longtime resident of Hebert Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. Her loving family was with her at her bedside.

Born on January 30, 1964 in Barre City, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Janet (Gusha) Morris. She attended elementary school in Barre City and was a graduate of Spaulding High School in 1982.

Following her schooling she made her home in the Barre and Williamstown area where she met and lived with her lifelong partner, Robert Duchaine. Though she held many positions throughout her working life, she spent the most time at Progressive Plastics in Williamstown, where she worked for many years.

Pamela was a dedicated member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Barre Town.

Throughout her life, Pamela had many hobbies and interests. The most important of those included knitting, crocheting, helping others whenever she could, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her parents, Janet and Kenneth Morris of Orange; her partner, Robert Duchaine of Williamstown; her sons Robert Duchaine, Jr. and his partner, Seana, of Williamstown and Scott Duchaine and his fiancée, Andrea, of South Barre and her three grandchildren Landen, Parker and Lena Duchaine. She also leaves four brothers Kenneth Morris, Jr., Donny Morris and his wife, Cherie, Greg Morris and his partner, Pat, and Brad Morris and his partner, Candice; her sister Tina Morris as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Pamela’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of God of Prophecy on Quarry Hill Road in Barre Town. A time of fellowship and luncheon will follow the service. Per Pamela’s wishes there will be no burial.
