BARRE – Nancy Anne Davenport, 67, a longtime resident of Websterville Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday. August 28, 2025, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born on April 2, 1958, in Barre, she was the daughter of Francis and Anne (Bacon) Davenport. She attended elementary school in Orange and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1976.
Following her schooling, Nancy was employed by Davenport Electric before moving on to Interstate Properties. She eventually went on to work for the Isham Insurance Agency before starting Barking Dog Bookkeeping and then retiring.
Nancy was a devout member of the Christ Community Alliance Church in Orange, where she was a youth group leader and a member of the deaconate. She was also a member of a ladies' bible study group that met for over a decade.
Her favorite hobbies throughout her life were cooking, watching movies, swimming, and especially spending time at the beach. She absolutely adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-nephew.
Survivors include her son Vincent Lentini and his wife, Mindy; her siblings Michael Porterfield and his wife, Angela; Shannon Davenport and his wife, Cindy; Laura Langevin and her husband, Russell; Kaigh Thompson and her husband, Tim; Douglas Davenport, and Michael Davenport and his wife, Karen. She also leaves her grandchildren Finnegan and Kellen, her great-nephew Jake, her niece Natosha, as well as many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
