BARRE — Michael Coletti passed from this world into God's hands on Sunday, June 21, 2026, after a short illness. He was born on July 15, 1943, in Barre, Vermont, the second son of Edward and Gertrude Coletti.

Following his graduation from Spaulding High School in 1961, Mike moved to Boston, where he spent many years working for Johnson Paint. He later returned to Vermont and was employed by Bombardier and U-32 High School before his retirement.

Living at the family home, Mike lovingly cared for his mother during her declining years.

An avid golfer throughout his life, Mike was a longtime member of the Country Club of Barre. He also treasured the many hours he and his brother Aldo spent watching New York Yankees games together. Go Yankees!

Mike is survived by his nephews, Aldo and Mark Coletti, as well as their children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Aldo and Eddie Coletti; his sister, Loretta; and his nephew, Brian Coletti.

A graveside service will be held at Hope Cemetery on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a gathering to follow at the Barre Elks Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
