PLAINFIELD - Marjorie Ann Butler, 54, of Plainfield passed away peacefully Sunday morning, March 15, 2015, from a long and courageous battle with cancer at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. Marjorie is survived by her loving husband, Bob of 33 years. She is also survived by her two sons, Bryan Butler and Daniel Butler.

Marjorie was born on June 27, 1960 at Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to William and Marjorie Brooks. She grew up in Tampa, Florida with her three brothers: Benjamin, Gregory, and David. She graduated with honors from Robinson Senior High School in Tampa.

Marjorie and Bob married July 24, 1981 at the former Ballast Point Baptist Church in Tampa. Together, they had two children who Marjorie was very proud of. They moved to Plainfield, Vermont in 2000 and have served together at Macedonia Baptist Church.

Marjorie was a stay-at-home mom who enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and serving others. She was a beautiful Christian woman whose love and faith in God was evident by the testimony she lived.

The first memorial service for Marjorie will be held at Faith Community Church at 30 Jones Brothers Way, Barre, Vermont on Friday, March 20, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. Public viewing hours will be held one hour prior to the service. There will be a reception following the service at Macedonia Baptist Church in Plainfield, Vermont.

The second memorial service will be held in Tampa, Florida with a graveside service to follow.
