NORTHFIELD – Marie Jean Martin, 59, of Pearl Street passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born March 22, 1960 in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Edward M. and Shelby J. (Lamell) Blow.
Marie attended Barre Town Elementary School and graduated from Williamstown High School. After graduation she made her home in Orange, and later moved to Northfield.
Employed as a Recovery Specialist at the Vermont State Employees Credit Union, Marie spent her spare time golfing with family and playing cards – especially poker and cribbage, she was a member of a local cribbage league. Marie loved to joke and laugh with others and travel – trips to the beach were special to her; her favorite past-times were coffee and reading.
Survivors include her daughter Shelby-Lynne Lunn of Roxbury; her granddaughter Avah Lunn; her mother Shelby Blow and her partner, John Graves of East Barre; her brothers Bruce Blow and his wife, Katy of East Montpelier and Ralph Blow of Florida; as well as her companion Thomas Martin of Barre.
Marie was predeceased by her father, Edward M. Blow.
A celebration of Marie’s life will be held at the convenience of her family.
