At the 2005 Joint Service Clubs awards ceremony, she was honored and recognized for her many contributions to the Central Vermont community.

She is survived by her husband Alban, of Montpelier, Vermont, her children David and his friend Andrew Kutches of Barre, Vermont, John and his wife Deborah, of Hopkinton, New Hampshire, granddaughters Elizabeth and her husband Ian, of New Haven, Connecticut, and Katherine and her husband Brian of Waltham, Massachusetts.
