Lisa P. Donahue

SOUTH BARRE – Lisa P. Donahue, 46, of Cheney Road passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at her home.

Born on July 23, 1973 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Robert P. and Carmen A. (Raymond) Pariseau. Lisa attended South Burlington and then Essex Junction Middle School and graduated from Essex Junction High School in 1991. After high school she attended Champlain College and graduated with an Associate degree in 1993.

On June 26, 2011 she married Greg Donahue in the Barre. Following their marriage, they made their home in South Barre.

Lisa was employed with Fleet Pride for over 15 years before joining the automobile business working as a Finance Manager. After spending a few years in the auto business, Lisa started her own company LPD Traffic Control where she employed over 40 people.

Lisa enjoyed vacations to tropical islands, boating, four wheeling, and especially enjoyed target shooting. Entertaining and hosting parties was probably one of the most gratifying things for Lisa.

Survivors include her husband Greg Donahue; her mother Carmen A. (Pariseau) Benard and her husband Joseph; her brother Josh R. Pariseau and his spouse Jamy; her stepsister Rebecca Desautels and her partner William Pikul; and her stepbrothers Thomas Benard and his partner Andrea Burton, and Robert Benard and his partner Alyssa Balteff; her special nephew Vance Pariseau-who was her pride and joy; her maternal grandparents Normand and Doris Raymond; her paternal grandparents Robert and Lillian Pariseau; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as her very close friends Nicole, Ellen, Casey, and Renita.

She was predeceased by her father Robert P. Pariseau in June of 2000.

The service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Barre Lodge of Elks #1535, 10 Jefferson Street, Barre. There are no calling hours.
