Linda Lee Works, 67, of Brockway Hill Rd. passed away on Friday, December 4, 2015 at her home.
Born on December 22, 1948 in Montpelier, she was the daughter of the late Harry Mason and Christine Mae (Lanpher) Young.
Linda worked as a data entry supervisor for the Department of Motor Vehicle.
She enjoyed being with her dog, Butch and spending time with her family.
Linda is survived by her son, Jim Hepsley, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Williamstown; her granddaughters, Phyllicia and Samantha Hepsley of Williamstown; her brothers, Claud Young of Randolph, and Ally Young and his wife Natalie of NC; her sister, Tena Muzzy of E. Montpelier; her two nephews and her niece; her partner of many years, Richard Duperry and his daughters, Dawn Young and her husband Tarp, and Sondra Duperry-Brodeur and her husband Robert, and his grandchildren, Hailey and Ryan Young, and her beloved dog, Butch.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre, followed by a luncheon at the American Legion in Barre.
