Linda L. Labrie

BARRE - Linda L. “Lynn” LaBrie, it is with a heavy heart, that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Lynn LaBrie on Thursday, September 12, 2024, in Barre, Vermont. She had been a longtime resident of Orange and later Barre.

Born on April 19, 1947, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Gertrude I. “Gert” Root, she moved with her family around Massachusetts and Vermont, where they operated farms until they moved to Johnson, Vermont, where she graduated from Johnson High School.

Lynn built a career in real estate and managed properties in the Barre area. Her love of animals was from an early age. She surrounded herself with horses, cats, and dogs. She was a big supporter of animal rescues, which she has passed on to her two children, Brenda LaBrie of East Barre, Vermont, and Brian LaBrie of Decatur, Georgia.

Her parents and siblings predeceased her.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, September 21, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m. until the start of a simple memorial service at 2:45 p.m. in the Hooker Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre.
