Linda M. Jutras

BARRE – Linda Marie Jutras, 69, of Allen Street passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her home.

Born June 27, 1948 in Montpelier, she was the daughter of Joseph Casey and Beatrice Hardy Furphy Jutras. She attended elementary and high School at Bacon Academy in Connecticut graduating with the class of 1966.

After her graduation she lived in Connecticut, travelled the country before settling in Vermont thirty-nine years ago.  Linda was a nurse and in her later years became a chef until her retirement.

In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, painting, drawing and special times with her grandkids, family and friends.

Survivors include her children Kevin Saisi of Maine; Sonya Ingram of Illinois; Antonio Jutras, Melissa Jutras, Teresa Smedy, Launa Casey and Jason Casey all of Vermont; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; her mother; her siblings Sue Parsons of Vermont; and James, Kenneth and Eric Furphy all of Connecticut; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her son Carl (Michael) Ohler.

A Celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
