ESSEX – Justin Alonzo Franks, 32, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 8, 2019.
Born April 29, 1986, in Berlin, he was the son of Gary and Edith (Franks) Dunkling. He served in the Vermont Army National Guard. He made his home in Marshfield and Plainfield before moving to Essex.
Justin was employed by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters in Waterbury and in earlier years did residential carpentry work. In his spare time, he enjoyed time spent hunting, fishing, camping and working on Jeeps. He loved the outdoors and time spent with his brothers, family and friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Natilee Franks; his parents Gary and Edith Dunkling; his brothers Scott Franks; Eric Franks and his wife, Cessilee; and Zeke Dunkling; his nieces and nephews Garrett, Alayna and Riley Franks and Jocelyn, Johnathan and Jordan Franks; his uncle Douglas Franks, Jr.; his aunts Lucinda Franks and Linda Franks Lamberton and many, many cousins and friends who will greatly miss him.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Douglas and Ruth Franks, his uncles Norman, Robert and Bill Franks and his aunt Ruby Smith.
A service to honor Justin’s life will be held at the convenience of his family.
