WILLIAMSTOWN – Joy Renfrew, 91, of Williamstown, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
Joy was born on February 11, 1935, in Barre City, the youngest of eight children born to William and Josie Marion (Harvey) Renfrew. She attended local schools.
Throughout her life, Joy lived in several communities throughout Central Vermont, including Chelsea, Barre, and Calais, before eventually making her home in Williamstown. She worked at Ethan Allen Furniture and later as a machine operator at GW Plastics before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings, Hilda Collins, June Davenport, Ella Renfrew, Marion Coburn, William Renfrew, Alexander Renfrew and Esden Renfrew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Vermont Humane Society, 1589 VT Route 14 South, East Montpelier, VT 05651.
