Journi Ann Parker LeClair

WILLIAMSTOWN — Journi Ann Parker LeClair, 26, of Williamstown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Berlin, Vermont.

Born on July 25, 1999, in Berlin, Vermont, Journi was the daughter of Edgar S. Magoon III and Jami LeClair. She attended Barre Town Elementary School and graduated from Williamstown High School. Following high school, she attended Green Mountain College in Poultney before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Technology from Vermont Technical College.

Journi was a bright, intelligent young woman whose drive and determination helped her achieve success both professionally and personally. She developed a deep appreciation for the granite industry and the people who make up its community. Beginning her career at Spruce Mountain Granites in 2020 as a part-time filing clerk, she quickly earned the respect of her colleagues and advanced to become the company's Financial Manager, Human Resources Manager, and Office Manager. She also served as a bookkeeper for Tabernack Granite Creations.

Dedicated to preserving the history and future of the granite community, Journi proudly served on the Executive Board of the Vermont Granite Museum as the secretary and treasurer. She was also the treasurer of the Quarrymen Park Project, where she generously contributed her time, talent, and passion to causes she believed in.

Above all, Journi's greatest joy was being a mother to her son, Olin. She treasured every moment spent with him, whether they were playing outdoors, caring for their ducks and chickens, tending their garden, or simply enjoying each other's company. Her love for Olin was evident in everything she did.

Journi had an adventurous spirit and genuine excitement for life. She loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing and found joy in arts and crafts whenever she could. She approached life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to embrace new experiences. Her quick mind, warm heart, and infectious energy made her a friend to many and a source of strength for those who knew and loved her.

Journi is survived by her beloved son, Olin Edgar; her mother, Jami LeClair; her grandmother, Barbara LeClair; her brothers, Edgar S. IV, Alexander, and Jayvian; her sister, Aundreya; her niece, Cincilea; and her aunts, Gala, Theresa, Terri, Kelli, Vicki, Brittany, and Uncle Roger, as well as numerous cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Edgar S. Magoon III; her niece, Kaylee Ann; her aunt Jodi and numerous other cherished family members.

Journi will be remembered for her intelligence, determination, and enthusiasm for life. She met the world with curiosity and ambition, always eager to learn, grow, and build a better future for herself and those she loved. Her kindness, dedication, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives. Though her time here was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 12:00pm at the Vermont Granite Museum, 7 Jones Brothers Way, Barre, VT. There are no calling hours.
