John Edgar Stickney

MORETOWN – John Edgar Stickney, 60, of Dickerson Road, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at his home.
Born August 4, 1954, in Colchester, he was the son of Edgar and Mildred (Conner) Stickney.
He was a long-time resident of Hill Street in Barre Town and for more than 20 years, he made his home with his caregivers, Roland and Sheila Dunham, in Greensboro Bend and more recently in Granby, Vermont.
John is survived by his sister Carol Burdett of Shelburne and several nieces and nephews as well as his loving caregivers Roland and Sheila Dunham and their family of Granby to whom we extend our most heartfelt thanks.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by 2 sisters Linda Mathewson and Sue Ellen Stickney.
His life will be honored and celebrated with a graveside committal service on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Evergreen Cemetery in Rutland City.
