James W. Benway

WILLIAMSTOWN – James W. Benway, 55, of Young Road passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at his home with his family surrounding him.

Born April 11, 1964 in Barre, he was the son of Albert and Charlene (Farrell) Benway. James attended local elementary schools and graduated from Williamstown High School in 1982. After graduation, he worked for Burrell Roofing for over twenty years.

In his spare time, he was a car enthusiast, reading magazines and going to car shows. He specifically loved muscle cars.

Survivors include his son and daughter Kyle and Moriah Benway; his grandchildren Oakley and Aurora Benway; his parents Albert and Charlene Benway; and his brothers Donny and Ricky Benway as well as his nieces Genesis, Alyssa, and Kaylee Benway.

A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at the convenience of his family.
