ORANGE – Jacqueline “Jackie” Beaudoin, 94, of Cutler Corner Road passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her home.

Born on December 23, 1931, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Nelson and Josephine (Poulin) Godbout. She attended local elementary schools and graduated from Burlington High School.

On May 23, 1953, she married Aurelien Beaudoin. Following their marriage they first lived in Winooski, Burlington, South Burlington, and moved to Barre in 1968 and then made their final home in Orange in 1987.

Jackie was a loving wife and mother of seven children as well as being employed as a proofreader for the Burlington Daily News and held various part-time positions. She was a longtime employee of Browns Pharmacy in Barre.

She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre as well as the Home Dem Club, and a member of the Barre Tones singing group.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family as well as knitting, ceramics, reading, gardening, sitting in the sun while sipping on a maple iced coffee.

Survivors include her daughter Denise Singleton and her partner, David Armstrong; her daughter Susan Chaloux; her son Lee Beaudoin and his wife, Patricia; her daughter Jill Bourgoine and her husband, Robert; her daughter Lisa Beaudoin; and her son Robert Beaudoin and his fiancé, Andrea Morais; her 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and her sisters Linda Miller and Christine Bufano as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Aurelien Beaudoin, her daughter JoAnn Fortman, her great-grandson Carter Welch, and her brothers and sisters.
