BARRE – Elsie Lamberti, 98, of Jefferson Street passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

Born May 24, 1921 in Plainfield, she was the daughter of Samuel and Martha (Smith) Bazluke. Elsie was married to David Lamberti and three children came from this union, David Lamberti, Carolyn Tucker-Stook, and Richard Allen, who passed away when he was a year old. Her husband, David passed away in 1995.

Also surviving are her grandchildren Lisa Hard of Pittsfield, VT; David H. Lamberti of St. George, VT; Rhonda Warren of Clifton Park, NY; and Randall Tucker of Barre, VT; her great-granddaughter Brittany Hard of Woodstock, VT; her two brothers Donald Bazluke of Barre and Thomas Bazluke of Florida; her sister Jean Eisenwinter of Florida; and her sister-in-law Joan Bazluke of Virginia as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elsie was predeceased by her husband, son, two brothers Robert and Samuel “Oscar” and two sons-in-law George T. Tucker and Allen T. Stook.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Plain-mont Cemetery in East Montpelier. There are no calling hours.

The family wishes to extend their special thanks to the Evergreen Unit of Woodridge for the compassionate loving care that Elise received.
