Ella Juanita Santamore

BARRE CITY – Ella Juanita Santamore, 61, of Summer Street, died Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born December 31, 1953 in Barre City, she was the daughter of Alexander and Victoria (Russell) Renfrew and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1971.
She had been married to Leon Edson, Philip Wanat and Lyle Santamore, with all marriages ending in divorce.
Ella had worked as a nurse’s aide for over 20 years at the former McFarland House Nursing Home in Barre and will be remembered as a dedicated caregiver as well as enjoying partying, dancing, and country and western music.
Survivors include her 2 sons Leon and Max Edson and 1 grandson all of Barre; 2 sisters Tina Friend of Mountain Grove, Missouri and Nena Renfrew of Buckeye, Arizona, her brother Allen Renfrew of Orange, and nieces and nephews.
Later inurnment will be made in the Wilson Cemetery in Barre Town under the direction of the Renfrew family.
