Edward C. Hutchins

WEBSTERVILLE – Edward Conrad Hutchins, 90, of Church Hill Road, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at home peacefully.

Born on May 3, 1935, in East Barre, he was the son of Leon L. and Hattie (Moore) Hutchins. Eddie attended elementary school in East Barre and Spaulding High School.

On January 21, 1956, he married Janet Lawson in Graniteville. Following their marriage, they made their home in Websterville.

Eddie worked in the granite industry for 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseshoes, and playing cards.

Survivors include his sons Mark Hutchins and his wife, Suzanne of Barre, VT; Michael Hutchins of Burlington, VT; and Peter Hutchins and his wife, Pam of South Carolina; his grandchildren Jowana and her husband, Drew; Jeff and his wife, Natalie; Chad and his wife, Caitlin; Jason, and Kurt, his great-grandchildren Cole, Jackson, Hannah, Laine, Henry, and Ira; and his sister-in-law Beverly Lawson and his brother-in-law Richard LaCross as well as many nieces and nephews. Also, special friends Ike Chase, and Ricky and Patty Hutchins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Janet and his grandson Eric.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at the convenience of his family in Wilson Cemetery in Lower Websterville. There are no calling hours.
