HOLLY HILL, FL – Edward A. “Eddey” Coletti, 67, of Magnolia Avenue passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Floridan Memorial Hospital in Ormand Beach, FL.

Born March 30, 1951 in Barre, Eddey was the son of Edward and Gertrude (Cooper) Coletti. He attended local elementary schools and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1970. After graduation he attended Aviation Mechanic School in Daytona Beach, FL and then he moved back to Barre.

Eddey was employed as an auto mechanic at Walker Motors during the 1970’s but decided to move back to Florida settling in Holly Hill and working as an auto mechanic, specializing in mostly Jaguars, at Bob Sellers Motor Company.

His memberships included the Eagles Club in Florida and the Barre Lodge of Elks #1535. In his spare time, Eddey enjoyed playing golf and cooking. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and was an avid fan of the #6 car and Mark Martin.

Survivors include his brother Michael Coletti of Barre and his sister Loretta Coletti of Holly Hill, FL as well as one nephew and two nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Aldo Coletti.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Hope Cemetery in Barre. There are no calling hours.
