Donna M. Brewer

GRANITEVILLE – Donna Marie Brewer, 59, of Orchard Terrace, passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. She is now serving her Lord in Heaven.
Donna was born in George County, Lucedale, Mississippi on January 5, 1956 to the late Sadie Marie (Parrott) Brewer and Auby Brewer.
She was formerly of Lucedale and Pascagoula, MS and was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Lucedale, MS in her young childhood.
While living in Pascagoula, she became a member of the First Baptist Church of Pascagoula, MS.
Donna worked for Singing River Hospital System in their IT Department. Later she moved to Oxnard, CA and worked for Sears Corporation and then for Salem Communication, a Christian Communication Company for Christian radio. In 2009, she moved to Graniteville, VT and worked for the State of Vermont in their IT Department.
Donna loved the outdoors. She loved animals and helped raise 5 Alpaca. She also loved working in the garden, woodworking, turning pens and fishing.
Donna is survived by two aunts; Virginia Ann (Parrott) Kirk of Pascagoula, MS and Zellean Brewer Goff of Lucedale, MS, along with many cousins and a treasured roommate and caregiver, Cheryl Carter of Graniteville, VT, and beloved fur child, her dog Sadie.
There will be no services in VT.
A funeral service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held at a later date in Mississippi. Burial will take place in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
