BARRE – Delores “Dee” Lynn Rollins, 45, of Elmore Street passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the Central Vermont Medical Center with her family at her bedside.
Born December 2, 1973 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Kenneth M. and Loris (Edson) Rollins. Dee attended local elementary schools and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1991.
She lived in Barre with her long-time partner, Brian Murphy. Dee was employed as an LNA at Rowan Court and most recently with Tender Loving Home Care.
In her spare time, she enjoyed watching horror movies, music, and dancing, spending time with family and friends, loved animals and was an avid Jeff Gordon fan.
Survivors include her son Trevor Bell; her daughter Madison Meacham; her father Kenneth Rollins, and her mother Loris Rollins and her long-time companion Jim Collins; her siblings Dora Duhaime; Kenneth M. Rollins, II; Danny Rollins; Lisa Marie Rollins-Laird; and Michael Rollins as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dee loved her two children Trevor and Maddie; she was incredibly proud of both of them.
She was predeceased by Dora Shuttle, Arthur Edson, Leon Edson, Malcolm Rollins and Barbara Rollins.
The graveside service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hope Cemetery in Barre. There are no calling hours.
Dee’s family would like to express their sincere thankfulness to the doctors and nurses at the Central Vermont Medical Center for their excellent care of Dee and the kindness extended to her family and friends.
