GRANITEVILLE – Dawn Dodge, 65, of Graniteville Road passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin with her family at her bedside.
Born January 26, 1954 in Barre, she was the daughter of John and Marjorie (Bilodeau) Hussey. Dawn attended local elementary schools and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1972.
On July 3, 1971 she married Albert Dodge in Williamstown following their marriage, they made their home in Barre, Oklahoma, and Florida before returning to Vermont in 2018.
Dawn was employed as a dispatcher for Signal Security Systems and then as a customer service representative at the former Grossman’s Lumber. She was a member of the St. Monica Catholic Church.
In her leisure time, Dawn enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, horseback riding, dancing, and most of all spending time with her loving husband and family.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Dodge; her children Kathie Felch and Jeffrey Dodge and his wife, Jessica; her grandsons Nathan Felch, and Jarrid and Jaymmes Dodge; and her siblings Maureen Graves and Michael Hussey as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Jack Hussey, Patricia Haynes, Steve Hussey, Edith Robbins, and Daniel Hussey, Sr.
Family and friends may call on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre, VT.
