WILLIAMSTOWN – Curtiss Victor “Curt” Noelk, 57, of Brockway Hill Road passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at his home.
Born on May 11, 1959 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of Victor Harvey and Helen Joan (Edwards) Noelk.
Curt attended Barre Town Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School with the class of 1977.
On June 20, 1992 he married Ann Bergeron at the St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Barre. They made their home in Barre before moving to Williamstown.
He was employed by Bates and Murray as a Journeyman Electrician for 35 years before becoming the Warehouse Manager for the company.
Curt played softball with the Barre Town Men’s League and coached his daughters’ soccer, basketball and softball teams. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering on cars and old trucks, hunting for the elusive deer, and attending his daughters’ sporting events.
Survivors include his wife Ann Noelk of Williamstown; his daughters Ashley and Emily Noelk also of Williamstown; his father-in-law Ronald Bergeron of Graniteville; his mother-in-law Nancy Bergeron of Barre; his brothers Douglas Noelk of Hinesville, GA and Bradford Noelk and his partner, Diane of Chelsea; a sister Molly Bucci and her husband, Jon of Burlington; his brothers-in-law David Bergeron of South Burlington and Matthew Bergeron and his wife, April of North Montpelier; he was a special “uncle chicken” and “uncle dirt” to nieces and nephews Summer, Katrina, Christopher, Trevor, Jake and Isabella; he will be dearly missed by his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as his Williamstown Youth Community Family.
For those who knew Curt, knew he had a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone and deeply loved his girls.
A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Canadian Club of Barre. There are no calling hours.
