Clara A. Machell

NORTHFIELD – Clara A. Machell, 83, of the Four Seasons Community Care Home on South Main Street, died on October 27, 2015 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.
Born December 17, 1931 in Barre City, she was the daughter of Allan R. and Verna (Winget) Machell. She had attended school in Graniteville, St. Johnsbury, and received her GED from Spaulding High School in Barre and had been employed as a filing clerk in several manufacturing companies.
Clara enjoyed arts, crafts, reading and had been affiliated with the Hedding United Methodist Church of Barre.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Marie Richard, 3 grandchildren, her brother, Allan Ray Machell of South Barre and 2 nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Her committal service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in St. Johnsbury.
