Christopher J. Noury

EAST BARRE – Christopher J. Noury, 35, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025.

Born on August 2, 1990, in Berlin, he was the son of James and Shelly (Gagne) Noury.

He attended Barre Town Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School.

He was employed as a Plumber and HVAC technician for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, ATV’s, cooking, repairing cars, and spending quality time with people who were dear to him.

Chris was known for his weeknight evening social rounds, showing up, checking in, and jumping in, to twist a wrench or lend some knowledge – he ALWAYS had some knowledge to share.  Even in the middle of the night, Chris was always down to pull people out of ditches or help with an emergency plumbing issue.  Your loved ones always admired this about you.

Survivors include his mother Shelly Noury (Rob), his sister Megan (Sean) and his nieces Rita and Emma and his nephews Connor, and Sean Jr.; and his long-time friend, Kara.

In addition to his grandparents, he was predeceased by his father James Noury.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the

Hooker Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. The service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at the convenience of his family.
