Charles H. Perry, Iii

BARRE – Charles H. “Chris” Perry, 80, of Green Mountain View Drive, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at his home.

Born on December 16, 1944, in Barre City, he was the son of Dr. Charles H. and Dorothy (Thomas) Perry, Jr. He attended local elementary schools and graduated from Spaulding High School. He then graduated from Parson’s College in Iowa.

On May 29, 1965, he married Michal Barquin in the Barre Congregational Church, following their marriage, they made their home in Barre.

Chris owned and operated Harvard Clothes in Barre for many years. He was a member of the Barre Congregational Church.

In his spare time, he was an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, and his spirit of adventure was strong.

Survivors include his wife Michal Barquin Perry; and his children Charles H. “Chip” Perry, IV and his wife Kristin Halpin Perry and Cheryl Perry McCarthy and her husband, Scott McCarthy; his grandchildren Ashley Christina Brown and her partner, Dan Manning and Brody Luke Brown; his step grandchildren Sean and Ryan McCarthy; his step great grandchildren Carson, Riley, and Chase; his sister Janice Lynn Perry and his brother Mark Thomas Perry.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Susan Perry Rock and his beloved dog, Lily.

The service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Barre Congregational Church, 35 Church Street, Barre. There are no calling hours.
