CHELSEA – Brody R. “Brodster” Burke, Jr., 38, of Edwards Road passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023.

Born on February 10, 1985, in Berlin, he was the son of Sam Burke and Lisa Seaman. At 3 years old Brody gained another father in his life in Christopher Wright, who raised him as his own. He attended Berlin elementary school and U-32 High School.

On September 19, 2015, he married Myriah Fleury in East Montpelier. Following their marriage, they made their home in Berlin before settling in Chelsea. They recently began developing their land in Maine to eventually make it their permanent residence, which was a goal of his. Earlier this year they were able to take their dream trip together out West and visited Montana and Idaho.

Brody was self-employed and enjoyed working with his hands and in the outdoors, performing lawn care, plowing and plumbing services most recently. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and hanging out with his friends and family. He lived the entire year for the month of November to hunt Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont with his close friends. He loved taking his older daughters, Summer and Kadynce, fishing as often as he could. He took each girl to deer camp one night a year for several years during hunting season to be in the woods and have father-daughter time. He also enjoyed taking Frances out in the woods in the evenings to look for wildlife.
