WILLIAMSTOWN – Bradley P. Tubbs, 57, of Sugarhouse Road, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born on May 2, 1966, in Barre City, he was the son of Philip H. and Elizabeth “Betty” (Hallihan) Tubbs. He attended elementary school in Barre City and graduated from Spaulding High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until he was honorably discharged. After his discharge, Brad attended Automotive School at Wyoming Technical College.
Once back in Vermont, he started and operated a car repair and sales business for many years. Brad was a member of the St. Monica Catholic Church and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, bowling, watching the Red Sox and spending time at his camp. He also loved German Shepards.
Survivors include his parents, Betty and Philip Tubbs of Barre, VT, his sister Christine Commo, of Essex, VT, and his niece Brittany Commo of Connecticut as well as his special friends, Jenny, Edwin, and Debbie.
He was predeceased by both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
The service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hooker Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. Following the service, inurnment will take place in Hope Cemetery in Barre. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Vermont Humane Society, 1589 VT-14S, East Montpelier, VT 05651.
