BARRE – Betty Ann (Ballard) Trepanier, 92, met her Lord Jesus Christ our Savior on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Woodridge Health and Rehabilitation Center where she had resided for six years. Her family was at her bedside.
Born on June 10, 1925 in Barre, she was the daughter of Mabel and Bert Ballard. On September 23, 1959 she married Jules Trepanier at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Montpelier. She resided and raised her family in Barre.
Betty enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, playing BINGO and eating a great bowl of spaghetti! She loved jewelry of all kinds. Some of her most cherished moments were spent with her family on holidays, birthdays and on game night playing cards. Betty was a fun-loving individual who had a wonderful sense of humor. She was loved by all.
Betty is survived by her children, Carol and her husband, Giuseppe Navarria; Michele and her husband, John Cheever; Pierre and his wife, Jan Calderara Trepanier; and daughter-in-law Tammy Trepanier. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kelsey Isaac Trepanier; Zachary Cheever; Hannah and her husband, Jared Felch; Jacob and his wife, Kelsey Trepanier; Aslin Trepanier; and Mara, Noah and Adam Trepanier and four great-grandchildren, Audrey, Zacarias, Josiah, and Elijah.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Jules, her seven siblings and her loving son, Michael Trepanier.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. There will be a gathering of remembrance following the Service.
