Barbara L. Frattini

BARRE – Barbara L. Frattini, 92, passed away at Lincoln House on Thursday, May 3, 2018 where she had resided since January 2014.

Born in Montpelier on January 8, 1926, she was the daughter of Albert and Sylvia (Converse) McKnight and was a 1943 graduate of Montpelier High School.

On June 6, 1947, she married Louis Frattini Jr. in East Montpelier and spent her married life in Barre City and later Barre Town. Louis passed away in March 2014.

Traveling with her husband, her sons and their families, golfing at the Barre Country Club and the Palm River Club in Naples, Florida, her knitting, and her involvement in various Hedding Methodist Church activities were her lifetime enjoyments.

Survivors include her sons and their spouses: Bill and Barb Frattini of Bath, ME and Jay and Sonda Frattini of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren; Karla Frattini Bruckmann and Joe Frattini, Valerie Frattini, and Nathan Frattini; and great-grandchildren Noelle Bruckmann, Henry Bruckmann and Matteo Frattini.

She was predeceased by her husband Louis, sons Thomas and Charles (Chuck) Frattini, grandson Nicholas Frattini, and her brothers George and Donald McKnight.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
