ORANGE – Aurelien N. Beaudoin, “Jack”, 92, of Cutler Corner Road, passed away on Friday evening, November 8, 2019 at his home with his family at his bedside.
Born May 28, 1927 in Winooski, he was the son of Severin and Claire (Thibault) Beaudoin. He attended school in Winooski.
On Saturday, May 23, 1953 Jack married the love of his life, Jacqueline Godbout in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Burlington. The two spent 66 wonderful years together and raised seven lovely children. They made their homes in Winooski, Burlington, Barre and eventually residing in Orange.
Jack spent his working career as a master of Printing Press operations. He was employed by the Burlington Daily News, the Burlington Free Press and finally Capital City Press before his retirement in 1980.
Throughout his life, Jack had many hobbies and interests. The most important of these were fishing, hunting, woodworking and “tinkering” in his shop. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife and six children and their significant others: Denise (Beaudoin) Singleton and David Armstrong; Susan (Beaudoin) Chaloux; Lee and Patricia (Davy) Beaudoin; Jill (Beaudoin) and Robert Bourgoine; Lisa Beaudoin; Robert and Kelly (Hatch) Beaudoin and one sister-in-law Dorothy Beaudoin, as well as 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter JoAnn Beaudoin, his three brothers and two sisters.
The gathering to honor and celebrate Jack’s life will be held at the Barre Lodge of Elks #1535, 10 Jefferson Street, Barre on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
