Armand J. Duquette, Ii

GRANITEVILLE - Armand J. Duquette, II, 44, affectionately known as Charm, of Donahue Road, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 2, 2015, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.
Born on October 8, 1970 in Berlin, he was the son of Armand J. Duquette, Sr. and Shirley (Blaisdell) Duquette. He attended Barre Town Middle and Elementary School and graduated from Spaulding High School in 1988. Armand attended Vermont Technical College in Randolph where he obtained an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering and was most recently employed by Dessureau Machines Inc. in Barre.
Armand was a big animal lover, especially of his dogs, Trigger and Molly. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was happiest outside. He loved his time spent with his friends, especially at the Pig Pen. He frequently went to hunting camp, ice fishing, and loved being out on the lake on a sunny day.
Armand is survived by his mother, Shirley (Blaisdell) Duquette, as well as his three sisters, Lori Duquette Remmey, Deborah Duquette, and Kathleen Duquette. Besides his immediate family, Armand is survived by his many nephews and nieces including, Jed Remmey, Kegan Remmey, Matthew Duquette, Tawney Kelty, Trey Kelty, Brynne Remmey, and Caitlin Remmey. Armand will be sorely missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends. He was an invaluable source of humor to all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth and Irene (Cady) Blaisdell and Edward and Leona (Lamay) Duquette, as well as his father, Armand Duquette, Sr. and his beloved dog, Morgan.
Family and friends may call on Friday, October 9, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. The funeral service to honor and celebrate his life will be Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Community Church, 30 Jones Brothers Way, Barre. There will be a gathering to follow the service at the VFW Post 790, Route 302, East Barre.
