EAST ORANGE – Arlington “Al” K. Farnham, of Fish Pond Road, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 with his family at his bedside.
Born January 12, 1941 at home in East Corinth, he was the son of George and Ordella (Mathews) Farnham.
Al attended elementary school at the Brookhaven School in Chelsea. In 1959 he joined the U.S. Navy and served until he was medically discharged in 1961.
He was self-employed as a handyman and in his spare time enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Steven and Josie Farnham of East Orange; Debbie Swartz of North Carolina; and Allen Farnham of Plainfield; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his sisters Rosemary Parker and Louise Smith; and his brother Conrad Farnham.
The service to honor and celebrate Arlington's life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the East Orange Church with a potluck luncheon to follow. There are no calling hours.
